Wingtra, the Swiss manufacturer of professional VTOL (vertical take-off and landing) surveying drones, and GlobalTroxler, Calgary, Alberta, are excited to announce the rollout of the first Wingtra “Certified Repair Center” in Canada.
The agreement between the two companies further enhances GlobalTroxlers’ customer support to a growing Wingtra customer base in Canada. Specifically, the training and certification process recently delivered by Wingtra will greatly reduce downtime when repairs or maintenance are required across GlobalTroxlers’ territory, which includes the provinces of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.
“One of the key components end users must consider to successfully enable a long-term drone program, is support”, says Wingtra’s North American Sales Manager, Scott McTavish. “The demand for WingtraOne VTOLs in Western Canada is growing rapidly. Having a regional support and service partner in GlobalTroxler, further strengthens our customers ability to get the job done.”
Along with advanced technical training, the agreement will see strategic warehousing of Wingtra systems and components across GlobalTroxlers’ customer base throughout Canada.
“We are excited to become the first Canadian Authorized Service Center for Wingtra. Together, GlobalTroxler and Wingtra will provide the best sales and service experience for the most advanced, accurate, and reliable VTOL RPAS on the market”, said GlobalTroxler Sales & Marketing Manager, Denon Wilgosh.
Wingtra develops, produces and commercialized high-precision VTOL drones that collect survey-grade aerial data. Wingtra entered the market in early 2017 and has been selling globally ever since. Recently the company has raised an additional $10M to meet the demand in 2019 and partnered with the biggest surveying equipment dealers across the globe.
