MicaSense
RedEdge-P

The MicaSense RedEdge Panchromatic (RE-P) is our premium multispectral camera, which combines a panchromatic sensor with five narrow bands to produce high-resolution multispectral and RGB from one flight for advanced analytics.

Unprecedented resolution

Precision agriculture and environmental research gets a major boost in accuracy, efficiency and cost-effectiveness with the RE-P.
Precision agriculture and environmental research gets a major boost in accuracy, efficiency and cost-effectiveness with the RE-P.
Its pansharpened resolution—down to 2 cm (0.8 in) flying at 60 m (197 ft)—is twice that of RedEdge-MX. This new level of precision is thanks to both a 5.1 MP panchromatic sensor and a three frame per second image capture rate.

Optimised for plant-level detail

High resolution enables applications that require plant-level detail, such as plant counting and species identification. This delivers solutions across industries like environmental monitoring and research.

Highest efficiency

The RE-P pushes the limits for multispectral mapping by having a faster capture rate enabling lower flights than before, even at high speed.

Every flight delivers reliable, high- resolution images across all bands. RGB composites as well as vegetation indices can now be gathered in the shortest time.

A bundle that sets you up for success

The combination of WingtraOne and RE-P is the best solution for mapping large areas, even in harsh conditions. Wind robustness means reliable maps, and PPK gives you high-accuracy repeatable data capture that you can overlap to detect changes in vegetation.

Coastal monitoring, as an example, involves repeatable large corridor mapping as well as missions in high winds.

* Horizontal absolute accuracy (RMS). Achievable with a WingtraOne GEN II and its built-in GNSS PPK module. This level of accuracy is achievable under optimal conditions, on hard surfaces, using a well-established base station or data from a CORS network. A minimum of three ground points should be used as checkpoints to verify and prove the accuracy of the project.
