Wingtra and Geotronics partner to supply WingtraOne in Poland

Wingtra, the Swiss drone company that develops the WingtraOne vertical take-off and landing (VTOL), fixed-wing drone has signed a reseller agreement with Geotronics, a leading surveying equipment distributor based in Krakow, Poland.

“We are excited to add the WingtraOne to our range. It raises the benchmark for other UAVs thanks to its VTOL systems, broad coverage capabilities and payload modularity; all features that make it the most versatile mapping and surveying drone on the market” said Geotronics sales manager, Grzegorz Romik.

Speaking on the partnership, Wingtra sales manager, Terence Thiel said: “I am excited to have Geotronics as our distributor in Poland. They are an experienced team with extensive knowledge of surveying and are highly experienced with drones for surveying. I look forward to seeing many Wingtras in Poland.”

WingtraOne takes off and lands as a multicopter but flies in the air as a fixed-wing aircraft. This technology eliminates the risk of damaging the aircraft while landing, lets the drone carry heavier and thus better sensors (e.g. 42MP Sony RX1R II), and still allows mapping of large areas.

The new PPK (post process kinematics) upgrade allows the WingtraOne to reach a new level of accuracy. With the highest quality sensors, like the Sony RX1R II, and a state-of-the-art PPK system, WingtraOne reaches accuracies of 1 cm (.4 in) without the need for ground control points.

Geotronics Dystrybucja Sp. Z o. o. is an authorized distributor of state-of-the-art measurement systems in Krakow, Poland. Their Extensive portfolio of equipment consists of geospatial instruments, such as total stations, GNSS receivers, and 3D laser scanners. They carefully choose measurement solutions based on the quality and precision of the obtained results. Thanks to their extensive knowledge and professional experience, they provide their clients with fully-implemented hardware and software solutions.”
