Quezon City 30 September 2018: Wingtra, the Swiss drone company producing the VTOL (vertical take-off and landing) drone called WingtraOne , has signed a reseller agreement with Surveytech Trading,  a highly regarded importer of quality surveying equipment offering after-sales support and service in the Philippines.

“The Wingtra Solution ensures that every flight is safe with its fully automated features. It also covers a more wide range and multiple specific areas in just one flight without wasting time and battery life. We are confident that Wingtra VTOL will be able to dominate the aerial surveying requirements in terms of hardware and software.” stated Paolo P. Carpitanos, Head Surveyor / Geodetic Engineer at Surveytech Trading. He added, “All of us here are excited and looking forward with our partnership with Wingtra.”

WingtraOne takes-off and lands as a multicopter but flies in the air as a fixed wing aircraft. This technology eliminates the risk of damaging the aircraft while landing, lets the drone carry professional sensors (e.g. 40MP Sony RX1RII) and still allows mapping of large areas.

The PPK (post process kinematics) upgrade allows the WingtraOne to reach new level of accuracy. With the highest quality sensors: the Sony RX1RII and state-of-the-art PPK system, WingtraOne reaches accuracy down to 1 cm without any ground control points.
