Wingtra signs a reseller agreement with Hades Geodeesia OÜ

Tallinn, 8 January 2019: Wingtra, the Swiss drone company that develops the first commercially successful VTOL (vertical take-off and landing) drone, has signed a reseller agreement with Hades Geodeesia. Hades Geodeesia OÜ is a leading provider of data-based solutions for real-estate and infrastructure projects in Estonia and has a proven track record in geodesy and 3D reconstruction.

Tiit Hion, Board member and CEO of Hades Geodeesia, commented on the partnership: “The segments in construction workflow we are active in are the most challenging from the innovation point of view. These are segments where data is changing its nature–turning from digital to real and the contrary. This is the reason we consider ourselves as partners to our customers and companies like Wingtra, assisting them to turn the data, regarding the construction workflow, into valuable information.”

Terence Thiel, EMEA Sales Manager at Wingtra commented: “Hades exemplifies the innovation culture that we look for at Wingtra. They have the full package of being experts in their field while providing the technical expertise to help customers realize their GIS and surveying needs. I look forward to building on our partnership going forward in 2019.”

WingtraOne takes off and lands as a multicopter but flies in the air as a fixed wing drone. This technology eliminates the risk of damaging the aircraft while landing, lets the drone carry professional mapping cameras (e.g. 40MP Sony RX1RII) and still allows mapping of large areas.

The PPK (post process kinematics) upgrade allows the WingtraOne to reach a new level of accuracy. With the highest quality sensors: the Sony RX1RII and state-of-the-art PPK system. WingtraOne reaches accuracy down to 1 cm without any ground control points.
